Institute offers four years (8 semesters) B Tech and B Tech (Honors) programs in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Communication and Computer Engineering (CCE). In addition to this, Institute also offers five years integrated B Tech- M Tech dual degree programs in CCE, CSE and ECE.

Development of a curriculum is an evolving process but the present distribution of courses is under following headings:

Compulsory Core Courses: Courses common to all the three branches

HSS (mostly electives): Humanities Courses

Compulsory Program Courses: Courses compulsory to particular branch

Science Electives: Science courses

Program Electives:Courses offered as elective in a particular branch

Open Electives: course offered in the Institute

The Compulsory Program courses for different branches are as follows:

Total Credit requirement for B Tech in CSE is 162.

Total Credit requirement for B Tech in ECE is 164.

Total Credit requirement for B Tech in CCE is 162.

The B.Tech (Honours) Program will differ from B.Tech program in the following fashion:

1. Reduce HSS electives by 4 credits.

2. Increase Open electives by 4 credits

3. Increase Program electives by 8 credits

4. B.Tech. Project for 8 credits.

Total credit requirement for B Tech (Honors) in CSE, ECE and CCE is 178, 180 and 178, respectively.

The B.Tech-M.Tech dual-degree program will differ from B.Tech program in the following fashion:

1. Reduce HSS electives by 4 credits

2. Increase Open electives by 4 credits

3. Increase Program electives by 20 credits, at least 16 of which must be at the graduate level.

4. Master’s thesis for 36 credits.

Total credit requirement for Dual degree M Tech program in CSE, ECE and CCE is 218, 220 and 218, respectively.
