The undergraduate program in Mechanical-Mechatronics Engineering is a four-year degree program that prepares students for their individual career paths and fosters their ability to adapt to the rapidly changing technologies in the world. Mechatronics is a combination of mechanical, electrical & electronics, computer and control engineering. It has wide applications in Robotics, Nanotechnology, automation, aircraft engineering, biomedical systems, space science technology etc.

Being an interdisciplinary subject, the student takes a number of courses from other departments of the institute. Four Program Electives give the flexibility to gain in-depth knowledge in an area of choice. A student enrolling for a B.Tech Program in Mechatronics Engineering is expected to obtain at least 152 credits. Semester-wise split-up for the four year program is given below.
