Department of Mathematics & Centre for Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics organized the National Workshop on Mathematics for Deep Learning (NWMDL2026) during March 9-13, 2026 which was partially funded by ANRF, India.  External distinguished resource persons for this workshop were Prof. Sivakumar K. C.( IIT Madras), Prof. C. S. Sastry(IIT Hyderabad), Prof. Sanjeev Kumar(IIT Roorkee), Prof. Rajesh Kannan(IIT Hyderabad), Prof. B. S. Panda (IIT Delhi), Prof. Sriram Ganapathy(IISc Bangalore), Prof. Yusu Wang (University of California, San Diego).
