Eligibility Criteria

  1. The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  2. To participate in the Special round, the applicant must have an 85.0000 or above percentile score in either the 1st or 2nd or both JEE (Main) 2025 Examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
  3. The applicant must have secured an aggregate of minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Class 12th examination from a recognized board.
  4. The applicant must have secured an aggregate of minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12th examination.
  5. The applicant must have secured an aggregate of a minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in the Class 10th examination from a recognized board.

Participation in Special Round

Anyone who satisfies the eligibility criteria (including students who are holding an allotted seat through the Regular Mode of UG Admission 2025 at LNMIIT) can participate by following the instructions for the Special Round.

Instructions for Special Round - B.Sc. – M.Sc. (5-Year Integrated Degree)

The above-mentioned eligible applicants must follow the following steps:

  1. The applicant must fill in the Special Round form and apply online through the admission portal (link: https://erp.lnmiit.ac.in/specialround/).
  2. The applicant must pay Fee and Charges of INR 3,60,750/- (for male applicants) and 3,59,750/- (for female applicants) in total. This includes the Application fee Tuition fee, registration fee, caution money, hostel, and mess charges.
    1. The Fee and Charges of INR 3,58,750/- will be adjusted towards the 1st semester fee and charges in case the Institute is able to provide a seat in one of the preferred branches of the applicant.
    2. In case the Institute fails to offer a seat in one of the preferred branches of the applicant then the Fee and Charges of INR 3,57,750/- will be refunded back to the applicant (After deducting the processing charges of 1000/- and the application fees.)
    3. In case the applicant wishes to withdraw from the allotted seat, the refund will be processed as per the refund policy applicable to the regular round.
    4. Application fee of INR 2000/- for male and 1000 for female candidates is non-refundable and non-adjustable. 
  1. If the applicant is already holding a seat through regular mode of UG admission 2025 at LNMIIT and continue to hold that seat till seat allotment under Special Round, (Must register using LNMIIT provided application id only) then:

New Registration Form

a.) Provide the same First Name and Last Name as given in the previous form.

b.) Provide the correct Application ID under which you were admitted in the regular round.

c.) A new Application ID and Password will be sent to your registered email ID.

d.) Log in to the form using your new Application ID (e.g., SLNMXXXXX) and Password.

Verify that your information is correct, then click & Save and Next and select your preferred branch on the final tab.

  1. The Fee and Charges of INR 3,58,750/- will be adjusted from the earlier paid amount. Hence, the applicant need not pay this amount.
  2. ln case the Institute is able to provide a seat in one of the preferred branches of the applicant then the currently allotted seat will be automatically cancelled.
  3. In case the Institute fails to offer a seat in one of the preferred branches of the applicant then no amount will be refunded, and the applicant will continue with the currently allotted seat.

  NOTE: The preferences mentioned in the Regular round are not valid. In case students holding a seat in any branch wish to participate in a change in the branch, they can only participate through this special round.

Allotment of Seats

  1. Allotment of seats will be in online mode only. The applicants need not physically come to the institute campus.
  2. A Merit List will be prepared solely based on the Final NTA score (percentile) obtained in Paper-1 (B.E./B.Tech.) in JEE (Main) 2025 Examination for all eligible applicants.
  3. In the case of applicants who appeared in both the JEE (Main) 2025 Examinations, the best of two percentile scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List.
  4. In case of identical JEE (Main) 2025 Percentile Score, the following tie-breaker rules will be applied in the given order.
    • Mathematics Percentile Score in JEE (Main) 2025
    • Physics Percentile Score in JEE (Main) 2025
    • Chemistry Percentile Score in JEE (Main) 2025
    • Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry total Percentage in Class 12th Exam
    • Mathematics Marks in Class 12th Exam
    • Physics Marks in Class 12th Exam
    • Chemistry Marks in Class 12th Exam
    • Total Percentage in Class 10th Exam
  5. Based on the above merit list and applicants’ preference list, seats will be allotted.

  • Students can select AC/Non-AC rooms. AC rooms are limited and will be allotted on First Cum First Serve basis. The option has to be given by the student during the time of admission.
  • The change of option from AC to Non-AC room will not be accepted. Request for Non AC to AC would be considered subject to availability.
  • Those are alloted Air Conditioned hostel rooms have to pay Rs.2,800 per semester as additional electricity and other charges over and above the yearly increased in fees and charges. Electricity and Internet charges may increase in case of any change in unit rates/tariff changed by Govt./service providers. This additional AC hostel charges are over and above the yearly charges and yearly increase in fees and charges.

NOTE:

  • The Institute reviews the Fee Structure & charges periodically. There will be an annual increase of approximately 10% in Fee and Charges.
  • For B.Tech. (Hons.) with Specialization and B.Tech. with Minor programmes, an additional fee of INR 80,000/- is chargeable in addition to the fee applicable for the entire B.Tech. programme. (This additional fee is total additional and highly subsidized tuition fee for the Honours / Minor related full set of courses and projects related to a given minor or specialisation and is to be paid spread over multiple semesters, as per the schedule of courses in the table of respective minor or specialization.) This additional fee is NOT required to be paid at the time of admission.
  • Tuition Fee in the 5th year shall be same as the Tuition Fee payable by the students of Final Year M.Tech. of that year. In 5th year, financial support is available as a half-time teaching/research assistant (HTTA / HTRA) as per the rules of the institute. The HTTAship /HTRAship under this scheme will be equivalent to the full Tuition Fee, and thus making it zero effective tuition fee.
  • All charges are mandatory nothing can be waived off.
  • Medical cum Accidental insurance yearly charges shall be charged on actual basis with 2nd semester fee.
  • Alumni lifetime membership Rs. 2,000/- is to be charged from the graduating students in the last semester.
  • Same fee shall be charged in 2nd semester.
    • Summer/Winter course fees shall be paid separately as decided (if opted).
    • Electricity charges may also change if any change in the Govt. tariff/JVVNL tariff charges proposed anytime in future.
    • Bus charges shall be payable as per use as decided by the Institute.
  • The LNMIIT is a residential institute. Therefore, staying in the Hostel and joining the Mess is compulsory for all the students. This condition may be relaxed if:
    •  There is a shortage of accommodation or any other reason beyond institute’s control. (For example, in view of COVID specific restrictions some hostel capacity may reduce.)
    •  A student has a genuine reason to stay outside the campus. In this case, the institute will take the final decision on case-by-case basis.
  • No separate bus charges payable to the Institute, subject to availability of such a service, therefore, no bus coupon shall be issued.
  • Hostel and Mess charges would apply only to those provided with hostel accommodation and using the mess.
