C-STEAM was established in 2025 to develop a Centre of Excellence in Sports Technology, Engineering, Analytics, and Management through interdisciplinary research, innovation, and development. The Centre is dedicated to exploring the vast potential of technology-driven and data-enabled solutions in sports.
Through innovation, interdisciplinary research, and collaboration with academia and industry, C-STEAM seeks to advance sports technology while preparing students and researchers for emerging opportunities in sports analytics, engineering, wearable systems, and intelligent performance technologies. C-STEAM aims to develop impactful solutions and advance the sports ecosystem at regional, national, and global levels.
Our Aim
The primary aim of the Centre is to help create central elements for not only advancing engineering, technology, analytics, and management aspects of the sports eco-system, but also to help improve safety and better quality of life for sports persons.
