The LNMIIT Centre for Sustainability and Innovation
The main aim of the centre is to develop technologies to make energy efficient systems and processes which would be environmentally friendly and sustainable. To advance student knowledge in climate change, sustainability, energy efficiency, and environmental conservation and develop innovative solutions, and promote sustainable practices for a greener and more sustainable future. Offering academic programs, courses, and workshops related to energy and environmental studies.
The center adopts a multidisciplinary approach to focus on sustainability, with particular attention to clean energy, clean water, clean air, culture, education, and economics.
Our Aim
To play a leading role in capacity building, technology development and dissemination in the field of Energy and Environmental Studies.
The LCSI aims to:
- To disseminate the technologies developed to the masses through IP creation, · technology transfer, creating awareness by conducting seminars, workshops etc.
- Conducting cutting-edge research on energy technologies, renewable energy sources, climate change impacts, environmental conservation, and sustainable development.
- To be an innovation-focused center, working to conceptualize, design, develop, and help to implement scalable and locally relavent sustainable solutions in select domain.
- To be a part of a major global movement towards a Circular Economy.
