About the Institute
The LNM Institute of Information Technology (LNMIIT), Jaipur, established in 2002 through a public–private partnership between the Government of Rajasthan and the Lakshmi & Usha Mittal Foundation, is a deemed-to-be university of national repute.

About the Department
Established in 2012, the Department of Physics currently comprises 11 faculty members with strong academic credentials and diverse research interests, ranging from Cosmology, High-Energy Physics, and Condensed Matter Physics to Optics, Biophysics, Photovoltaics, Biosensors, and Nanotechnology, employing experimental, theoretical, and computational approaches.
The department offers Ph.D. and M.Sc. (since 2016) programs, along with core and elective courses for B.Tech. programs.
Faculty actively collaborate with national and international institutes and have been supported by several government-funded projects (SERB-DST, BRICS, Indo-Russia, India-Taiwan, etc.). The department is steadily developing state-of-the-art research facilities.

Accommodation
Students and postdoctoral researchers may be accommodated in LNMIIT hostels on a payment basis (as per institute policy). As hostel capacity is limited, requests will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Faculty/Scientist participants are requested to arrange their own accommodation. Hotel recommendations can be provided upon request.
